David Cameron comforts sick woman on the street
PM and Boris Johnson were travelling to event in north London when they spotted woman who had collapsed.
David Cameron held the hand of a woman who had collapsed in the street while he was on the way to an election campaign event, comforting her until help arrived, according to a paramedic.
The prime minister and the London mayor, Boris Johnson, were en route to the event in Harrow, north-west London, on Monday morning when they noticed a woman who was unwell in the suburb’s Sheepcote Road, London ambulance service said.
Paramedic Dominic Stark, who attended the scene, said: “The prime minister and Boris Johnson had pulled over when they noticed a woman collapsed on the street.
“When I arrived a few minutes later, I found the PM holding the woman’s hand. I took over caring for the patient and they left a few minutes later.
