Derby City Council wish to ensure that in procuring services, consideration is given to how what is proposed to be procured might improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of the area of Derby and how this improvement can be secured using the procurement process.

In particular the focus is on improving and maximising the following objectives:
• A thriving sustainable economy
• Achieving their learning potential
• Good health and well-being
• Being safe and feeling safe
• A strong community
• An active cultural life
Derby City Council will shortly be procuring a service to deliver Restorative Justice Services and Interventions on behalf of Derby’s Youth Offending Service.
The main outcomes of the service will be:
1. to put the victims wishes at the forefront
2. to help prevent offending and reoffending by enabling young people to take responsibility for their actions
It is envisaged that tender documents for this service will be issued approximately Monday 09 November 2015.
