National Grid Electricity Transmission is a regulated utility in the UK, and as such this procurement process will be regulated by the UK Utilities contracts Regulations 20016 (as amended).
Official communications shall be conducted via the message board on National Grid’s e-sourcing platform. All communications throughout the tender process related to the project must be sent via this means. Any communications not sent via the e-sourcing portal may not receive a response, National Grid will not accept any responsibility should this happen.

Applicants must request to participate in the Pre-Qualification process by email to craig.hunter@nationalgrid.com before the closing date detailed in section IV.3.4).

Please note the PQQ will be issued at a later date.
The PQQ is a questionnaire divided in to general questions regarding the applicants credentials and more specific questions regarding the applicants experience relevant to the scope of the project as well as Health and Safety policies and experience. Full details about the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) process will be described within the PQQ documentation.
All costs of completing and submitting any submission, and any presentations of the submission, are the responsibility of the Applicant(s).
Tenderers will be required to submit prices in GBP, there will be no option to price in alternative currencies.

applicable appeal procedures are set out in the
Utilities Contract Regulations 2006, (as amended) (the UCR 2006). For the avoidance of doubt, as this
procurement is being conducted by National Grid
under the UCR 2006, no contract will be concluded until the expiry of a minimum 10 day standstill period after the award decision has been communicated to tenderers as required by regulation 33 of the UCR 2006.
The UCR 2006 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) and the High Court will have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any challenge to this procurement process.
