Derbyshire Sport acting for Derbyshire County Council is seeking to appoint an organisation to design and deliver a leadership programme in Derbyshire. The programme will be aimed at middle leaders within Derbyshire Sport and across the network. It will develop them as leaders; – leading self and others, leading teams and leading within Derbyshire Sport. Throughout the course, delegates will be encouraged to consider how they themselves and their organisations need to change to ensure we achieve the vision of ‘Being one of the most active and sporty counties by 2020’, what their true purpose is, and whether they are fit for that purpose.
The successful organisation will be required to:
•Be responsible for the planning and delivery of the programme
•Liaise frequently with Derbyshire Sport and be advised as to the outcomes of the programme
•Set the programme outline, ensuring delegates have the opportunity to develop as leaders, focussing on self, leading others, leading within a team, and leading Derbyshire Sport
•Set the programme outline, ensuring delegates have the opportunity to discuss/debate the changes required to ensure Derbyshire Sport achieves its vision
•Organise a session to include others from delegate’s organisations to consider the good to great journey.
The successful tender submission will need to demonstrate relevant skills and experience and ability to design and deliver our Leadership Programme.
A fixed fee of £16,000 is available for this work, to include travel expenses.
