The housing partner will initially provide a design and financial model for an affordable homes capital business case for the proposed facility. Subject to secured funding and Council Cabinet authorisation the housing partner would be responsible for the design, building works and provision of housing services for the proposed facility.
The Contract is expected to run for 3 years from approximately November 2014 to November 2017.

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: Based on the quantity and quality of the bids recieved we envisage a minimum number of five and a maximum number of ten companies will be shortlisted and taken through to ITT stage.

If the Contracting Authority decides to enter into a Contract with the successful supplier, this does not mean that there is any guarantee of subsequent contracts being awarded.
Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgement of potential suppliers.
