The hopper shall incorporate robust dust extraction and dust suppression systems such that there shall be no fugutive dust emitted into the environment whilst discharging a wide range of bulk materials including pellatised wood biomass. Due to the anticipated cargoe types the hopper shall be ATEX rated and be required to operate under its own power. The hopper shall be designed to limit the imposed loads during manoeuvering and operational activites due to quay loading restrictions on the existing quays and therefore the hopper will require bespoke designs in relation to the under carriage / wheel arrangements and pad sizes / location in order to limit the loads being transferred onto the suspended quays around the port estate.
