Develop and implement a Marketing Campaign for the Our Heritage/Ein Treftadaeth and Princes of Gwynedd Projects
Description of the contract

Conwy County Borough Council would like to invite suitably qualified suppliers to develop and implement a detailed marketing campaign for two heritage projects.

A partnership of Conwy County Borough Council, Gwynedd Council, Snowdonia National Park and The National Trust, working in conjunction with other heritage bodies in North West Wales, has been formed to deliver a regional approach to the development and promotion of North West Wales’ unique heritage, in response to tourism and heritage strategies for the region.

The Our Heritage/Ein Treftadaeth project is required to generate an additional 70,950 tourism visits to heritage sites by the end of 2014. The Princes of Gwynedd is required to generate an additional 12,000 tourism visits to heritage sites by the end of 2014. The marketing campaign should be geared to the delivery of these targets, in particular taking full advantage of the 2013 and 2014 summer seasons as potential periods for capturing the majority of additional visits.

Companies must have experience of developing and implementing similar heritage marketing campaigns.
