The service will provide effective and innovative housing related support enabling people affected by domestic abuse to live independently within the community.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The purpose of this tender is to commission housing related support within a 24 hour refuge provision for single women, women with children fleeing domestic abuse and a floating support service for people (non-gender specific) affected by domestic abuse. The services will provide effective and innovative housing related support enabling people affected by domestic abuse to live independently within the community.
The services will be provided by one Support Provider in order to provide clarity and continuity between refuge provision and the floating support service.

This tender opportunity will run for four (4) years commencing 1.4.2018 with an option to extend for a further 24 months at 12 month intervals. The contract will therefore be renewed between 1.4.2022 and 1.4.2024 (dependant on whether the extension periods are utilised).

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:
Bidders will be required to demonstrate their previous approach/experience in delivering Community Benefits and are required to submit a Method Statement in the form of a “Community Benefits Plan” setting out how they will incorporate and deliver “Community Benefits” through this appointment. Please note this WILL not be scored. However, they may form part of the Terms and Conditions of this project.
