WMHG are seeking to appoint a NICEIC accredited company to undertake electrical inspections in our domestic properties and issue complete EICR. The contractor will also complete minor Cat 1 works at time of inspection where necessary.
The inspection and testing shall be undertaken in strict accordance with BS7671:2008 IET wiring regulations as amended 1.7.2011.
This work will be undertaken across our operational areas in Coventry, Birmingham, Worcester and Hereford and will include a combination of houses and flats in high-rise and low-rise blocks. The project will be split into 4 lots where you can apply for one or more of the lots.
The programme of works is to commence 1.4.2015 with completion by 31.3.2016.
Interested parties should have proven previous experience of this type of work and be NICEIC accredited and have sufficient in house staff trained and qualified to City and Guilds 2391/2394/5 — Inspection, Testing and Certification.

This procurement is on behalf of the current members of WM Housing Group Limited and on behalf of future members of the WM Housing Group Limited and its partner organisations. All of these organisations will be entitled to use the services of the Service Provider appointed and may for that purpose join in the Contract to be entered into by the Contracting Authority with the successful Service Provider, or alternatively issue orders for the supply of services in accordance with its/their terms.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: WMHG will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day Standstill Period following electronic notification (minimum of 15 calendar days for any other means of communication) to unsuccessful applicants of the award decision. This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the Contracting Authority before the contract is entered into. If an appeal regarding the award of contract has not been successfully resolved, the Public Contracts (Amendment) Regulations 2009 (SI2009/2992) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or at risk of harm by breach of the Rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought within 3 months. Where a contract has not been entered into, the Court may order the setting aside of the award decision, or order the Contracting Authority to amend any document and may award damages. If the contract has been entered into the Court may generally only award damages.
