II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking expressions of interest from interested organisations for the provision of an Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy and Violent Crime Caseworker Service. The service aims to provide emotional and practical support to high risk domestic violence victims in the borough including those affected by violence against women and girls strands and violent crime.

The available budget is 180 000 GBP per annum. An additional 20 000 GBP may be available per year and this is subject to central government funding. The Council anticipates the central government funding payment will be used towards extra staffing to deliver the service.

This procurement is being carried out under the light-touch regime.
