Lot 1: Driver Risk and Safety Training
The provision of a road risk reduction/management programme for Network Rails 18,000 drivers to measure and assess driver risk using an Electronic Learner Portal, on-road coaching and group seminars.
Lot 2: Vocational Driver Compliance and Competency Training
The training needs are:
— Periodic driver training requirements driver CPC.
— Tachograph Drivers Hours.
— Working Time Directive Training.
— Category C (Heavy Goods Vehicle) Driver Licensing – test and theory.
— ALLMI crane.
— ADR training (carriage of dangerous goods) includes small loads briefings.
— Certificate of Professional Competence International.
Tenderers can tender for either or both Lots.
The contract length is 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years.
