There are 2 Lots and providers can apply for either or both.
— Lot 1 — Planned inpatient detoxification: This lot is specifically for service users who are not able to detoxify in the community, within the care co-ordination of the specialist treatment provider or with the support of their GP. Their condition is complex but not acute, linked to a serious medical condition.
— Lot 2 — Residential rehabilitation (abstinent drug and/or alcohol): Services in Lot 2 will be required to undertake a range of interventions/approaches in the context of a residential rehabilitation setting. Interventions may include one or more of the following approaches: 12-step, therapeutic communities, cognitive based, behavioural, social learning, eclectic/ integrated, faith-based, skills based, single gender establishments in a residential setting.
