1)Short description

The aim of the Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Detoxification Service is to provide short episodes of what was previously known as Tier 4 medically managed inpatient drug and/or alcohol detoxification, involving 24-hour medical cover from a multidisciplinary clinical team with specialist training in managing addictive behaviours. This will potentially include psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, pharmacists, social workers, and other activity, support and administrative staff.
