Dudley College is a large college in the Midlands area, operating six days a week. The College currently operates from nine sites in the Dudley area. Contracted security services include manned security in the evening and at night, at weekends and during Bank Holidays. Contractor is also responsible for opening up and locking of the college buildings and an out of hours alarm response service. The contract will initially be awarded for 36 months, with an option to extend for a further two years subject to satisfactory service and costs.

Section III: Legal, economic, financial and technical information
III.1.1)Suitability to pursue the professional activity, including requirements relating to enrolment on professional or trade registers
Companies must be able to demonstrate experience and expertise in the sector and currently operate within a 50 mile radius of the location. Shortlisting for Invitation to Tender will also be subject to financial status and suitable references plus demonstration of Quality Assurance Procedures.
III.1.2)Economic and financial standing
Abbreviated accounts for the last three years trading will be required at PQQ stage.
III.1.3)Technical and professional ability
Minimum 3 years experience in the sector. Parties will be able to demonstrate standards via client references and site visits, together with information regarding standards of compliance to UK and EU legislation. Full evaluation criteria stated in tender specification.
III.2.2)Contract performance conditions:
Established security organisation only with at least three years experience in the sector, preferably within an FE College setting and with current contracts within a 50-mile radius of Dudley College.
