Croydon have adopted an outcome based approach to supporting children, young people and families that enables clear and measurable benefit in their lives, particularly the most disadvantaged or those at risk of being disadvantaged.
Croydon has already commissioned a number of organisations to work with children, young people, parent and families to achieve the following outcomes;
·        Improved educational achievement
·        Improved parent-child/young person relationship
·        Improved child and maternal health
·        More responsive and consistent services
The previous round of commissioning did not secure sufficient services to address
·        Greater family resilience and autonomy
Therefore we are going back out to the market imminently in respect of services to meet these outcomes.
