Justification for a framework agreement, the duration of which exceeds four years: The initial period is 24 months commencing on the 1.1.2015. The MOPAC may then exercise up to 2, single 12 month extension periods. Therefore the maximum end date if both options were taken would be midnight on 31.12.2018. Other Police Forces cannot go past the respective end date that MOPAC agree for the Contract.

The Managed Service Provider will provide the service to other geographical regions in England and Wales if the respective Police Force area wish to access the Contract to obtain the service.

The MOPAC requires Emergency Boarding Up Services for the Metropolitan Police District. This is to be provided by a single Managed Service Provider who will be responsible for call receipt, allocation of repairs to their repair network or through sub-contractors and invoice creation where applicable. The Contract can be accessed by other Police Forces of England and Wales and for the Managed Service Provider will be required to provide their repair network or through sub-contractors if the relevant Police Force decides to use the Contract.
