Description of the contract

The JCP District of West Yorkshire (WY) intend to use the FSF to access more specific and bespoke support, including Specialist Advice and Guidance, CV completion, Work Experience and Job Search Skills for unemployed claimants to move them into, or nearer to employment. The aim of the provision is to provide claimants with the necessary employability skills and knowledge to successfully apply for jobs to help them find and remain in employment. The provision is primarily targeted at Pre-Work Programme customers aged 18 years and over and have graduated from University within the last 12 months; who are in receipt of JSA / ESA and require additional support to maximise their chances of securing work in advance of their Work Programme referral. Initially, participants will:- Receive and actively participate in an intensive career and transferable skills advice programme. This will involve their attendance at scheduled meetings, as well as engaging in additional ongoing contact, where required. They will receive support in actioning an agreed plan. They will receive and actively participate in 3 Master classes. They will receive Job Search Support. A maximum of 300 participants to receive intensive career and transferable skills advice, all will receive an action plan and will participate in the Master Classes.
