Tenderers will provide face-to-face counselling services for SLC employees and must supply appropriate and suitable local accommodation for the delivery of this service. Local areas deemed acceptable by the Council are Hamilton, East Kilbride, Lanark, Cambuslang/Rutherglen, Glasgow.
A fundamental requirement of this contract is the accessibility of a confidential free-phone helpline which operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The helpline must be staffed by professional advisers who are able to offer telephone support,guidance and information to employees.
All staff providing counselling services as part of this contract must hold relevant and recognised qualifications a BACP accredited course, COSCA validated course or a European equivalent course.
