European Social and Infrastructure Young Peoples Programmes 2014-20
AfC is planning to submit bids to deliver Young Peoples Programmes in the 2014-2020 ESIF tender round.
- London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
- ACHIEVING FOR CHILDREN European Social and Infrastructure Young Peoples Programmes 2014-20
- Achieving for Children (AfC) is a community interest company set up from 1 April 2014 to deliver children’s services across the Royal Borough of Kingston (RBK) and the London Borough of Richmond (LBR). AfC is planning to submit bids to deliver Young Peoples Programmes in the 2014-2020 ESIF tender round. We are specifically interested in being the lead partner in delivering against 2 potential specifications:
Preventative NEET, which will focus on keeping young people 15-18 in education, employment and training
Building the Capacity of Organisations to offer Guidance, which is likely to focus on supporting schools and colleges in improving their Careers Education and Guidance offer.
We intend to bid in the cluster area that RBK and LBR are included in for bidding purposes. This area (‘the contract package area’) has not yet been confirmed by the London Enterprise Panel but is likely to include a number of geographically adjacent local authorities in South and West London. Our understanding is that Government is keen that Invitations to Tender should go out from the Skills Funding Agency in March, although timescales may slip. AfC wants to start developing strong local partnerships now, in anticipation of the SfA tender specifications being launched.
Bidders to Note
Please note that the contract period stated is indicative and is not guarranteed. The actual outcome of this process will depende upon the remit provided by funding Body.
