Description of the contract

English Heritage is inviting tenders for a project that will evaluate English Heritage involvement in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs). The project will have two principal aims; Firstly, establish how many decisions involving an EIA were determined in a given timeframe and indicate a suitable timeframe and geographical coverage for the best estimate of the number in England over a year. Secondly, to evaluate these to determine in how many cases EH would be a statutory consultee and of those how many EH responded to; and how many cases where EH was not a consultee was there any impact on the historic environment. Organisations interested in tendering need to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire which can be requested by emailing: NHPCPtenders@English-Heritage.Org.Uk. The completed questionnaires will be assessed and scored and between 5 to 7 organisations then invited to tender.
