The requirement is for an experience events traffic management provider to work with the Council’s event management team to develop traffic management plans and deliver the traffic management for the events detailed below:

— 2017 Sunderland International Airshow;

— 2017 Sunderland Illuminations;

— 2018 Sunderland Tall Ships Race;

— 2018 Sunderland International Airshow;

— 2018 Sunderland Illuminations.

Organisations will need to demonstrate that they can fulfil contracts of the size and nature of this contract and have evidence of this within the last 3 years.

All tender documents are available via this portal. Tenders must be returned before 12:00 26.4.2017 in accordance with the ITT instructions. As part of the tender process Sunderland City Council intend to hold a supplier briefing session on 7.4.2017 at 14:30. Further details regarding the briefing session are included in the ITT instructions you must confirm your intention to attend direct to andrew.raft@sunderland.gov.uk. The aim of the briefing session is to provide advice on submitting an acceptable bid, there will also be opportunity to ask questions.
