Description of the contract

Open Labs City Centre Co-working Facilitation Open Labs at Liverpool John Moores University is seeking to appoint a company to host its regular co-working event – Jelly Liverpool. This event is aimed at companies and freelancers from the city’s digital and creative industries and is characterised by participants dropping in through the course of the day to work in a shared environment in a social setting to benefit from the synergies created by working with likeminded individuals. The event runs on the first and third Thursday of each month and operates from a city centre venue. The average number of attendees over the 2 years of its operation is 30 participants though this has fluctuated between 10 and 40 participants over the period. The successful company will facilitate the event, providing the following services – welcoming of participants Introduction to Open Labs’ activities. Feedback to Open Labs staff on companies that match specific profiles. Suitable venue and catering. Key Requirements are – The successful company needs to demonstrate experience of facilitating events for the target audience, who frequent the venue selected. . The selected venue must be in a central Liverpool location, have robust wifi connectivity and have dedicated event space.
