Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (‘the Trust’) is seeking to appoint external auditors for a minimum period of three financial years (2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18) commencing 1st December 2015 with an option to extend for a period of 12 plus 12 months (to cover 2017/18 and 2018/19). This audit appointment is for the audit of the Foundation Trusts Statutory Accounts, Whole of Government Accounts, Quality Accounts and Trust’s Charitable Fund Accounts. The Trust has an associated Charitable Fund balance of circa £1 million relating to donations and legacies donated and bequeathed to the Trust. The Trust currently maintains most of its transactions systems in-house including, General Ledger, Accounts Payable Services and Accounts Receivable Services. The HR and Payroll Services are outsourced and are provided by the HR and Wellbeing Business Service.
