III.2.2)Economic and financial ability

Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: Economic operators must be able to demonstrate that annual company turnover (for the company directly carrying out the this contract) must be at least twice the total tender price/contract sum per annum and the company must have at least 2 years full accounts — if tenderer is tendering for more than 1 lot the annual company turnover (for the company directly carrying out these contracts) must be at least twice the total of the combined tender prices/contract sums.

Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required:
Lot 1
Company should be/have Building and Engineering Services Association, FGas, Gas safe, NICEIC and Water Industry approved plumbers and provide current certification as evidence
Contract Manager should be/have a recognised certificate in safety management, detailed knowledge of current legislation, all health and safety and legislative training appropriate to this contract. Current certification to be provided as evidence.
Site operatives should have a recognised apprenticeship, all relevant health and safety and legislative training appropriate to this contract. One should be a qualified electrician, one should be a qualified HVAC mechanical engineer, with gas safe registration, one will also hold F Gas registration. All must hold current externally accredited training/qualifications that comply with University policies, eg. legionella and asbestos. Current certification to be provided as evidence.

Company must be Security Industry Authority (SIA) licenced for both security service and CCTV usage.
Company must provide all appropriate licensing required for this service.
Staff employed under this contract must be accredited to an appropriate management standard ie BS7858/BS7499

Evidence to be provided that Tenderer has visited Innovation Centres in relation to contracts they tender for. Site visit dates are included in the tender documentation.
