Edinburgh Napier University wishes to appoint external consultants to help deliver key marketing and communications projects for us throughout the year as well as ad-hoc projects as they arise. The services are broken down into lots and companies may bid for multiple lots.
The expectation is that there will be only one supplier for each lot with the exception of ‘Lot 9: Additional freelance artworking/graphic design capacity’ and ‘Lot 10: Film Production’ where, given the potential volume of work, we will appoint three suppliers to each of these lots.

We now require a supplier to provide Search Engine Marketing to support the following:
UK Undergraduate student recruitment marketing (April through to December each year):
Postgraduate student recruitment campaign in the UK and overseas (January through to September each year).
Promotion of our online learning provision (throughout the year).
Business to business marketing of research, consultancy and CPD courses (throughout the year).

Developing our digital footprint in key markets, both in the UK and overseas, is a key priority for us. As we move forward we need strategic advice to help us to update and develop this existing digital strategy so that we are prioritising specific areas and activities to ensure we stay at the forefront of digital marketing development.

1)Short description

Our corporate internet site (www.napier.ac.uk) is managed via Sharepoint CMS and has recently been updated using a new template design. We require external web page design support to help us respond to business needs. We envisage that around ten webpage designs will be required, including an update of our homepage and course listing pages following feedback from user testing carried out in May 2012.

A typical web design will require concept design and sign off, html and CSS development so that the work package can be passed to our internal IT team for implementation.

We will require an anticipated 300 hours of artworking support to supplement our in-house graphic designers.
