Accord Maintenance Procurement Group wishes to procure a contract for the Provision of Fire Risk Assessment services for each Housing Association.
The successful tenderer will be required to carry out Fire Risk Assessments to identify the significant findings and make recommendations and/or action plans to assist the Contracting Authority in meeting its obligations as ‘the reasonable person’ under the Fire Safety Regulations (NI) 2010 and The Fire & Rescue Services (NI) 2006 to the extent of responsibility for premises or part of premises falling under their control.
The Term Fire Risk Assessment is not limited to purely the completion of the Fire Risk Assessment template but is considered by Accord Maintenance Procurement Group as part of an overall integrated procedure which includes pre-inspection gathering of data, an onsite premises assessment, completion of the FRA document and a management review process.
This will be procured as part of a consortium of Housing Associations including:
— Alpha Housing (Northern Ireland) Ltd; 6 Edgewater Road, Belfast, BT3 9JQ.
— Fold Housing Association; Fold House 3-7 Redburn Square, Holywood BT18 9HZ
— Habinteg Housing Association (Ulster) Ltd; Alex Moira House, 22 Hibernia Street, Holywood BT18 9JE
— Triangle Housing Association;60 Eastermeade Gardens, Ballymoney BT53 6BD
All four of the above housing associations together form part of the Accord Maintenance Procurement Group (AMPG). Economic Operators should also note that during the Contract duration other Department for Social Development Registered Housing Associations in Northern Ireland may either join AMPG, or by virtue of some corporate arrangement with a AMPG Member (merger, acquisition, joint venture etc.) and require Services to be provided to them under the contract awarded as part of this Competition.
The Services associated with this Contract, are subject to change dependent upon the requirements of the Contracting Authority. The Contracting Authority does not guarantee that any (or all) of the Services will be required under the Contract.
