The Guinness Partnership Limited (TGPL) provides homes and housing services to around 60 000 households and deliver over 10 000 hours of care every week.

TGPL is seeking to appoint up to 6 suppliers for the provision of Fire Safety Equipment Maintenance and Repair Services in the properties managed by TGPL.

The contract is to include the inspection, testing, maintenance and cleaning of emergency lighting luminaries; fire detection and alarm systems; portable fire fighting equipment; dry and wet riser systems; automatic opening vents and smoke extraction systems; automatic sprinkler systems; door restraint catches and hold open devices and automatic fire curtains.

Suppliers are required to be registered with Bafe SP203, BAFSA, NSI Fire Protection and ICEL competent engineer.

Suppliers are required to have an established web portal to ensure TGPL can access information regarding their servicing schedule and status of any repairs.

TGPL reserve the right to cancel the procurement at any time and not to proceed with the award of any contract at any stage of the procurement process.

Tenders should note that the provisions of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 as amended, may apply to this procurement.

TGPL give no guarantee on the volume of activity to be delivered under this Contract.

TGPL has a number of residents that own the leasehold to their homes and TGPL reserve the right to exclude these properties from the Contract and to make alternative arrangements for the supply of fire safety equipment maintenance and repair services.

Suppliers are required to have a minimum annual turnover of at least 50 % of the full contract value. Where submitting for multiple Lots, annual turnover must be the combined minimum turnover for each Lot bidding for. Further details of the minimum turnover requirements can be found in the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.
