Network Homes (NH) are engaging one Service Provider to carry out planned preventative maintenance / servicing, responsive repairs, 365 days a year with 24 hour breakdown call out cover and replacement of fire fighting equipment and systems within estates and properties owned by NH in London and the Home Counties.
The contract shall start in August/September 2017 for a period of 5 years extendable at Network Homes’ option by up to 5 further consecutive period(s) of one (1) year.

Network Homes (NH) is inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced service providers to carry out planned preventative maintenance / servicing, responsive repairs, 365 days a year with 24 hour breakdown call out cover and replacement of fire fighting equipment and systems within estates and properties managed by NH and SW9. The contract shall cover the following equipment/systems: Fire alarm systems (including detectors, magnetic door holders etc.), Fire alarm monitoring systems, Fire extinguishers, Portable fire extinguishers, Fire blankets, Dry and wet riser installations, Safety signage, Fire hydrants, Sprinkler systems, Emergency lighting, Hard Wired Smoke Detectors, , Domestic Interlinked Smoke Detection Systems, Automatic Opening Vents, Fire curtains, Bin chute fire damper/fusible links, Vibrating plates and flashing beacons for the hard of hearing, Water Mist Systems.
It is anticipated that any remedial works to emergency lighting, including any identified during planned inspections, will be passed back to the Client and the work will be carried out by the Electrical Safety Service Provider unless NH instruct otherwise.
The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. The contracting authority will observe a minimum 10-calendar day standstill period from the day after communication to tenderers of the authority’s intended award decision. There is no right of appeal to the contracting authority and instead the UK Public Contract Regulations 2015 provide for an aggrieved party to apply to the High Court of England and Wales concerning any alleged breach unless an extension is granted by the courts. Full information regarding appeals can be obtained from the body responsible for the appeal procedure detailed in VI.4.1).
