II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
The contracting authority, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is seeking to procure consultants to undertake “Construction and Estate Management Related Consultancy Services” to assist the Trust in taking forward construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects of varying sizes within its approved annual capital programmes. The services will comprise a range of construction related consultancy services including: 1) Architecture; 2) Quantity Surveying; 3) CDM Co-ordinator Services; 4) Construction Project Management; 5) Building Services Engineering; 6) Civil and Structural Engineering; 7) Building Surveying; and 8) Healthcare Planning. The various “Lots” will be established as Multiple Party Framework Agreements. Services will be “called-off” in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in each Agreement for each Lot. Consultants on the Framework Agreement will be required to undergo performance measurement and evaluation on an annual basis. Further information relating to this Framework are set out in the PQQ.

A Parent Company Guarantee and/or Performance Bond may be required by UCLH, the details of which will be set out in the Invitation to Tender (ITT) and accompanying documentation.

No special legal form is required but UCLH reserves the right to require one party to undertake primary contracting responsibility for the services or to require that one or more parties are jointly and severally liable.
