The Trust wishes to establish a framework for construction works that will be required by the Trust in various locations throughout North and West Yorkshire. The Trust is seeking expressions of interests from suitably experienced and qualified contractors to be included as framework partners.

Precise work levels are unknown and will vary depending upon the Trust’s ongoing requirement for construction works over the duration of the framework agreement. However, it is the Trust’s intention to let an initial project under the framework agreement for the New Earswick Renaissance project, incorporating Red Lodge re-development -providing both independent living and registered care fit for our Aging Society, incorporating the enhancement of existing communal facilities which has an estimated value of 11 000 000 GBP. The Trust is not giving any guarentee of the level of work that will be made available under the framework agreement.

Pre- qualification questionnaires (PQQs) will be distibuted to any party expressing an interest in this framework opportunity to the contact detailed at section I.1. The Trust anticipate to be in a position to issue the PQQs in the week commencing 23.12.2013. The return date for completed PQQs will be detailed within the PQQ.
Acceptance of a contractor onto a framework agreement by the Trust is not a guarantee of any work, or continuity of work. The Trust is under no obligation to place all or any work under the framework agreement.
Any agreement entered into will be governed by English law and will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
The Trust reserves the right to terminate the procurement process (or part of it), to change the basis of the procedures for the procurement process at any time, or to procure the contract by alternative means if it appears that the contract can be more advantageously procured by alternative means. The most economically advantageous or any tender will not automatically be accepted.
Tenderers are responsible for any costs they incur in respect of bidding for this framework opportunity.
