The contract is for a framework agreement to cover the provision of services for architectural, structural engineering, and mechanical and electrical engineering roles. It is anticipated that the architect will act as lead consultant and the appointment tender is for a combined design role although each key discipline consultant will be separately appointed by the Client. Expressions of interest from individual disciplines will not be considered. The framework will be operated for an initial period of three years with an option to extend by one further year.
It is envisaged that some projects undertaken during the course of the framework may receive external funding.

Requests to participate must be received by 14:00 (GMT) on Wednesday 2.1.2013 and should be e-mailed to sally.mounsey@gleeds.co.uk. Please state “UofN Design Team Framework” in the subject heading. Potential bidders will be required to download the documents and submit the completed PQQ through a web-tendering portal. The details, including a user name and password will be issued by e-mail to each applicant on receipt of contact details.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The University of Nottingham will incorporate a standstill period at the point when information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision including details of their submission relative to the winning bid. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.
