The Corporate Officer of the House of Commons (the Authority) requires suppliers to provide daily deliveries of a range of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables (Lot 1) and Prepared Fruit and Vegetables (Lot 2) to the Catering Services Department (CS) of the House of Commons for use in its restaurants and catering outlets. The House of Commons and The House of Lords are currently reviewing all individual contracts in order to match requirements and time frames for tendering processes with a view to putting in place joint contracts. As a consequence the basic requirements of the House of Lords Catering and Retail Service have been included in this document so as to provide tenderers with an illustration of the possible increase in requirements and values of this contract.
The Framework will be for a period of 3 years, with an option to extend for a further year.
The approximate annual spend for this contract is: Lot 1 (Fresh) House of Commons 300 000 GBP House of Lords is 150 000 GBP and Lot 2 (Prepared) House of Commons 80 000 GBP House of Lords 50 000 GBP.
