Description of particular conditions: The contractor and it’s supply chain may be required to actively participate in the achievement of social and or environmental policy objectives relating to recruitment and training supply chain initiatives. Contracts for the provision of services to transport bodies on behalf of HM Coroner in East Sussex.
East Sussex County Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced companies for the provision of services to transport bodies on behalf of HM Coroner in East Sussex.
The Contracts will be as follows:
Contract 1 East (East of the County).
Contract 2 West (West of the County).
The maximum number of companies that East Sussex County Council intends to invite to tender for these contracts is six. These companies will be selected on the basis of their scores at the Pre-Qualification stage.
Award criteria will be based on a combination of both technical and commercial capability and best value and will be weighted as follows:
Finance 40 %.
Service Delivery Proposals 60 %.
The contract will commence on 1.4.2013 for a four year period until 31.3.2017, with an option to extend for one year plus one further year.
The attached pre-qualification questionnaire can be downloaded by interested organisations which should then be completed and returned to the Council not later than 12 Noon on Monday 7.1.2013.
Organisations expressing an interest should note that the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 may apply.
