The works will include the annual inspection of gas appliances, flues and pipework, servicing of the existing heating installation and newly installed systems,any associated controls, wiring and general repairs where necessary,advising PCH where replacement of heating installation are required and issue Landlord’s gas safety certificates, to undertake the annual checking of smoke detectors / CO2 alarms.

Tenderers should note that the proposed contract for gas servicing covers an area South of the A38, Plymouth Community Homes direct labour will under take the servicing to the North of the A38.
PCH are seeking to appoint one successful service provider.
The proposed contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years and PCH will have the option to extend the contract, at its sole discretion and subject to performance, for a further two (2) years and has a proposed value of £840,000 – £1,500,000 per annum.

PCH reserve the right to terminate the contract based on an annual performance review.

Description of particular conditions: The successful contractor will be required to actively participate in the achievement of social and/or environmental policy objectives relating to recruitment and training and the employment of small and medium enterprises. Accordingly, the contract performance conditions will relate in particular to social and environmental.

In writing from a candidate as to why it was not successfull, PCH is required to provide additional information to the candidate.
That information must be provided at least three (3) working days before the expiry of the ten (10) days’ standstill period (though the standstill period may be extended if it is not possible to provide the information in time). It has suffered or risked loss or damage as a result of breach by PCH of its duties under the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 may take proceedings in the High Court.
