The overarching user needs for this initiative are: • Finances o Delegated Budget for GDS and for each Function; o Actual Spend across GDS and for each Function; • People o Visibility of current assignments of people across GDS and for each Function; o Visibility of actual and forecast of people against the headcount controls; o Transparency on people availability and utilisation across GDS and for each Function; o Profile of GDS people (Civil Servants, Interims, Service Resources); • Demand o Up-to-date management information on forecast demand for people; o Current people needs; o Demand modelling; • Systematic transformation of existing supporting software systems to a unified workforce management solution platform.
