With approximately 12 400 properties Magenta Living, is seeking tenders for an initial period of 4 years for the provision of grounds maintenance services at its owned or managed social housing, sheltered accommodation and other properties,
Land or grounds includes open space, woodland, open plan gardens, gardens and other areas associated within enclosed sheltered and supported housing schemes, low rise and high rise flats, shrubbed areas and residential gardens.
In addition to communal areas and tenanted trees in gardens, Magenta Living is responsible for 2 large woodland areas. One area has over 700 trees and the other over 200 trees. Managing these woodlands falls within the scope of the Lot 3 Arboricultural Services Contract.

Magenta Living wishes to enter into a 4 year contract for the provision of grounds maintenance services at its owned or managed social housing, sheltered accommodation properties across Wirral, Cheshire and the Merseyside area. This Lot 1 is for the provision of Grass Cutting of General Amenity Areas (Cuttings Mulched) Twice per month — i.e. every 2 weeks and herbicide treatment plus winter lawn edging and pruning of shrubs and herbicide treatment/ strimming to paths; hard-standings; walls; and fence lines.

Magenta Living wishes to enter into a 4 year contract for the provision of grounds maintenance services at its owned or managed social housing, sheltered accommodation properties across Wirral, Cheshire and the Merseyside area. This Lot 2 Service is for maintenance of grass and Hedges from circa 227 individual gardens and herbicide treatment / strimming of all hard-standings therein. This lot also includes hedge cutting and hand weeding services and ‘flail’ or suitable equivalent mow to meadow grass & semi natural areas including landlocked and former demolition sites, plus herbicide treatment to garage sites and miscellaneous areas. In addition the requirement includes leaf clearance & moss treatment from communal pathways around communal blocks over the winter period.

Wirral Partnership Homes wishes to enter into Contract(s) for the provision of grounds maintenance services at its owned or managed social housing, sheltered accommodation and other properties, each with an option to extend twice, at the end of each period, each time by up to a further 2 years at Magenta Living’s discretion. The total duration of each Contract could be up to 8 years.
