Croydon Council’s current green spaces management and grounds maintenance contract is due to expire at the end of January 2014 and the Council wises to consider its options prior to starting the process of re-procuring this contract. The current contract, which has been in place since 2003, covers the maintenance of all of the borough’s parks and green spaces. There is a separate contract for trees and woodlands maintenance currently.
While the Council prepares to release the OJEU for the new procurement sometime in November 2012, it would also like to engage with key suppliers in the market now to consider views on aspects such as the service delivery approach, scope, monitoring and reporting and contracting terms to ensure the best outcome for green spaces management in Croydon. The Council will be procuring the new contract through a restricted route. The Council would like to seek your views in the first instance via a brief questionnaire which can be dowloaded from the Council’s e-tendering portal www.londontenders.org.
The return date for completed questionnaires is 7.9.2012.
