Cumbria County Council is inviting tenders for the routine grounds maintenance of all corporate sites Countywide.
The proposed strategy for grounds maintenance for all corporate sites is to procure these on the basis of 6 geographical areas Carlisle, Eden, Allerdale, Copeland, Barrow and South Lakeland. Sites in scope include Offices, Libraries, Care Homes, Day Centres, and Fire Stations At present there are around 162 sites within this Tender however this number will reduce over the next four years as the Council implements a programme of consolidation of Assets.
The Council proposes to enter into the Contract(s) for a maximum period of 1 year plus 1 year option to extend.

II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

Cumbria County Council is inviting tenders for the routine grounds maintenance of all corporate sites Countywide.
The proposed strategy for grounds maintenance for all corporate sites is to procure these on the basis of six geographical areas Carlisle, Eden, Allerdale, Copeland, Barrow and South Lakeland. Sites in scope include Offices, Libraries, Care Homes, Day Centres, and Fire Stations At present there are around 162 sites within this Tender however this number will reduce over the next four years as the Council implements a programme of consolidation of Assets.
The Council proposes to enter into the Contract(s) for a maximum period of 1 year plus 1 year option to extend, the annual value is estimated at 129 000 GBP per annum. Total approx. contract value 258 000 GBP (12 months plus optional extension of 12 months).
Split into 6 Lots.
This framework will be available for any public body within Cumbria to use, although there is no guarantee of spend.
