The notice will be for the provision of Half Hourly Collection and Meter Operator services for a period of 5 years. Southern Water Services will require half-hourly data files that will be used to analyse consumption trends and enable efficiency measures. These files will need to be sent daily by an agreed secure method and compatible with our reporting system Optima. Financial checks will be carried out prior to a contract being agreed.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if the requirements are met: 1) All candidates must comply with the requirements of the State in which they are established, regarding registration on the professional or trade register.
2) Any candidate found to be guilty of serious misrepresentation in providing any information required nay be declared ineligible and not selected to continue with this procurement process.
3) All candidates will have to demonstrate the they are licensed, or a member of the relevant organisation in the State where they are established, when the law of the State prohibits the provision of the services, described in this notice, by a person who is not so licensed or who is not a member of the relevant organisation.
Candidates must be an Elexon accredited electricity Half-Hourly Data Collector and Meter Operator.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: Southern Water will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.
