Halton Borough Council is pleased to invite organisations to a Supplier Event prior to the publication of an Invitation to tender for Halton Domestic Abuse Service. Halton Borough Council are committed to tackling causes of harm, we have a zero tolerance approach to domestic abuse and everything that we possibly can to prevent, to protect and to provide for those affected in Halton. We know that domestic abuse has a significant impact in the safety, health and wellbeing of Halton families and communities. We are clear in our approach ensuring that we are helping adult and child victims to be safe and get their lives back but also that where possible we are robustly tackling the cause of harm as well as aiming to prevent domestic abuse occurring. Halton Borough Council is proud to offer a real opportunity for an experienced and suitably qualified provider to deliver a whole family approach to domestic abuse services for adults, children, young people and families that are experiencing domestic abuse to ensure a co-ordinated approach for families. Halton Borough Council is committed to providing high quality services for our diverse community. We invite only professional, reliable, financially viable providers to help us achieve our vision. It is proposed the contract will start on 1st November 2019. The event will provide information on the service requirements and the tendering procedure via the Councils Electronic Procurement System – The Chest. Support will be provided at the end of the event to those suppliers who are not registered on The Chest. Date: Wednesday 1st May 2019 Time: 2 pm Venue: Runcorn Town Hall, Heath Road, Runcorn, Cheshire, WA7 5TD.
