The Trusts objective is to appoint a single Supplier to deliver the service requirements under single contractual agreement
The objectives of the service are:
1.2.1. To contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the NHS’s business through the continuous, reliable and efficient provision and maintenance of a wide range of services to all elements of the building, associated engineering systems and grounds to ensure a safe, compliant, comfortable, functional and attractive working, caring and healing environment.
1.2.2. To ensure the continuous, reliable, efficient and cost effective provision of main services including sewerage, steam, hot and cold water and medical gas services.
1.2.3. To ensure that the NHS’s energy efficiency is maximised.
1.2.4. To enable the NHS to comply with statutory and regulatory requirements and to plan strategically in an informed manner, provide and maintain accurate and relevant information regarding the estate(s).
1.3. Service Elements.
The elements of the service to be provided under this contract are:
— Estate Maintenance Service (Electrical, Mechanical, Building Fabric Maintenance).
— Reactive maintenance including Helpdesk.
— Planned Preventative Maintenance.
— Minor Works.
— Emergency Out of Hours response team.
— Minor alterations, adaptions and improvements.
— Grounds and Garden Maintenance.
Estimated value excluding VAT:
Range: between 8 400 000 and 11 200 000 GBP
