The service is required to provide mobility equipment and associated accessories to individuals with long term mobility needs registered with a GP in the London Borough of Harrow and the London Borough of Hillingdon.
The integrated wheelchair service will ensure that service users have a better quality of life and are able to maximise their mobility through the assessment, prescription, provision, support, modification and ongoing maintenance of suitable equipment that meets their individual clinical needs.
The service is for the provision of wheelchairs on a long term basis (greater than 6 months).
The provider of the wheelchair service must deliver all of the following components either directly or through subcontracting or partnership arrangements, which must be agreed with the Commissioners.

The duration referenced in Section II 1.4 is for the provision of the holistic service including placing of orders.
The value provided in Section II 1.4 is only an estimate. Spend and volumes may vary throughout the life of the framework agreement from the anticipated levels given in this notice.

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: OJEU procedures include a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to bidders. This period allows unsuccessful bidders to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. Such information should be requested from NHS SBS. If an appeal regarding the award of a contract has not been successfully resolved the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (SI 2006 No 5) provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
