The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames is seeking to re-commission its Healthwatch Services. Local Healthwatch has a hugely valuable role to play in helping health and social care services in Kingston to be the very best they can. The core business of Local Healthwatch is to be an independent consumer voice ensuring that the views of children, young people and adults influence improvements in health and social care. An effective Local Healthwatch will work collaboratively with the Kingston ‘family’ of partners, including statutory agencies and voluntary and community sector organisations to make a positive contribution to improving health and wellbeing outcomes for people in Kingston. Empowering and supporting children, young people, adults and communities to have their say through a range of innovative and inclusive engagement mechanisms will be at the centre of the Healthwatch role.

All tenders will be opened one at a time by the Head of Corporate Governance and the appropriate Director, Executive Head or Service Manager. The terms ‘Head of Corporate Governance’, ‘Director’, ‘Executive Head’, and ‘Service Manager’ include any officer duly authorised by the same.

VI.1)Information about recurrence
The Authority may have qualified the Tenderers on the assumption that, where the Tenderer is an operating company, it may be guaranteed by the parent company. As a result, the Authority may require each Tenderer to confirm the identity of the guarantor of its obligations under any Contract(s). This guarantor should be the ultimate parent company of the Tenderer, except in exceptional circumstances. In the case of consortia, the Authority may require confirmation that the consortium will provide either a parent company guarantee from the lead consortium member or an equivalent level of security.
