- Soft Market Test for the Commissioning of Healthwatch Sheffield
- Sheffield City Council is anticipating going out to tender in 2016 to agree a new contract for Healthwatch Sheffield to begin from April 2017, which is when the current contract ends.
As part of the commissioning process for Healthwatch Sheffield, Sheffield City Council is undertaking a soft market test. This gives potential providers the opportunity to express their interests and feed in their views about the commissioning exercise. The Council will use the information to appraise options and develop the specification for this Service.
This process does not constitute a formal tender or other competitive bidding process and will not result in the letting of a Contract. The Council is using this process solely to test the market to gather information and ascertain the level of interest in this particular Service. There are therefore no formal criteria which we will use to judge your responses, and it is not our intention to provide any feedback.
Any information you provide will be treated in confidence and will not be shared with any third party. We are hoping for a range of responses from a variety of different organisations, and would encourage you to respond if you feel this is something your organisation may have an interest in.
