Description of the contract

A Highway’s Coarse Visual Inspection (CVI) survey to be carried out strictly by UKPMS accredited surveyors and collected via UKPMS accredited software in accordance with the national guidelines. The total length of CVI inspection over unclassified roads is 4560 km, to be carried out over a 4 year contract period. Each annual survey will be approx 1140km of carriageway evenly distributed throughout the county and proportioned appropriately between the urban and rural environment. The survey will be limited to the carriageway and kerb and it will not be required to assess the footway. This is a fixed priced contract.
