II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:

The initial contract length will be up to 6 years depending on the lot. At the CouncilĀ”s discretion up to an additional 2 years, subject to satisfactory performance, may be granted at the end of the initial contract term and beyond that an additional 2 years may be granted to give an overall possible 10 year term.
Providers can bid for 1 or more lots.
In the tender documents are details of the number of hours per lot available. There is also the opportunity to offer additional services such as night sits and sleep-ins which will stand outside of the block contracts.

This is a procurement for services specified in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as those covered by the Light Touch Regime (LTR). The procurement exercise will be conducted in accordance with the information contained in the Invitation to Tender and associated documents.
The Authority has been constrained by the forms used by the Publications Office to describe the procurement procedure as Open. Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The Council has incorporated a standstill period at the point when information on the proposed award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the Contract is entered into. Aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by any breach of the Councils obligations may take action in the High Court(England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
