Description of the goods or services required

As part of an ongoing development plan the University Hospital Crosshouse, Kilmarnock is to be re-signed for users internally.

A short life working group met to to review the ease of following current hospital signage within University Hospital Crosshouse to final destinations and to identify improvement opportunities through reference to best practice, developed the strategy for a new corporate wayfinding design and reviewed different design solutions

The short life working group reviewed a number of different signage products and systems and have agreed to proceed with the Modulex Messenger Interior Systemefore proposing the specified product.

Contractors are invited to tender for the supply and installation of welcome, information and wayfinding signage across the site excluding the Ayrshire Maternity Unit building from main entrance to wards and departments.

The aspiration of the signage is to achieve a signage solution that enhances the user experience and reflects the status and size of the site.
