The University of Warwick (called ‘The University’ within the tender documentation) is tendering for the provision of a fully integrated human resource software system. This will involve The University embarking on a significant programme of change focused on:
— Making the institution an exceptional place to work for its staff;
— Attracting and retaining the highest calibre staff;
— Making staff interactions with the institution simple, efficient and impressive;
— Empowering staff to take control of their work lives;
— Making it easier for staff to do their jobs;
— Maximising the potential of all staff;
— Simplifying people processes across the university;
— Real time and predictive analytics for use in University decision making.
The University is looking to partner with an organisation in an ongoing relationship that will deliver and maintain both the underlying system and the new ways of working it will support.

At the time of publishing this tender documentation, the overall 5 year budget for this requirement is 2 000 000 GBP gross (i.e. inclusive of VAT and all charges). This budget is anticipated to include all costs associated with the proposed solution, for example any and all one-off charges by the successful supplier, annual licence fees and any other annual charges in years 1 to 5 inclusive.
The initial contract term will be for 5 years. Suppliers should note that it is intended that this system will be procured as an ongoing concern and as such The University is unlikely to retender for the requirement in forthcoming years.
