It is used to determine the effect of network interventions both proactively and reactively. All modelling is currently performed with the ‘Piccolo’ software solution, provided by supplier Safege. In addition, NWL uses a software application called Strumap, provided by supplier Northgate Public Services, in order to develop flushing schemes for our clean water network.

NWL are seeking a supplier who can supply, deliver and support a replacement clean-water hydraulic modelling solution which meets the requirements set out in Section 4 of the ‘NW2086 Hydraulic Modelling Software Requirements v0.6’ document attached. It is imperative that the solution is a fully functional, readily available ‘out of the box’ solution and not custom built.
