Cooling-water pumps. 1.1 This contract is to carry out a turn key project to replace three existing Chiller plants serving a chilled water system to the Hospitals Air conditioning systems 1.2 The scope of this contract shall include;a)The safe decommission, dismantle and removal from site of three existing York Chiller plants from the roof of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital (T floor), a large twenty two storey high rise acute hospital, located in the centre of Sheffield. b) A technical evaluation and assessment of the current Chilling load and duty cycle to achieve optimum efficiency and future proofing. c) The design manufacture supply and install and commission new replacement Chiller units that will be Energy efficient and compliant with all statutory requirements and based on Eurovent 7 – 12 – 35 standards and certification. d) Any necessary pipework alterations to the existing Chilled water pipe work to connect to the existing distribution pipework Low Loss header. e) Any necessary additions or adjustments to accommodate the new chiller plant footprint onto the existing mezzanine steel supporting structure. f) Any associate electrical and mechanical service connections. g) Any control units required to achieve reliable temperature control including any interface to the Hospital BMS system. h) Any Craneage or specialist lift requirements to carry out the works. i) All Project Management and site control.1.2 Existing Equipment (to be removed and replaced) i) 2 No 950 kW York Chillers Ref: YCA S95 0GS1 P7P7. ii)1 No 750 kW York Chillers Ref:YAE S04 655 B50Y.
